QUALITY CONTROL & TESTING
Quality control at Colors Furniture starts before production and continues through manufacturing, testing, final inspection, packing and container loading.
Dedicated QC personnel follow approved product specifications, samples and buyer requirements throughout the order, with inspection records maintained at key control points.
QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS
Our quality control system combines incoming material verification, first article inspection, in-process inspection, surface finish checks, performance testing, final inspection and corrective-action control.
When quality issues are identified, QC personnel have the authority to stop production or shipment until corrective action and reinspection are completed.
01
Materials and components are checked against approved specifications before being released to production.
02
The first finished units are inspected and approved by our internal QC team before full production continues.
03
Dedicated QC personnel inspect production throughout key manufacturing stages.
04
Coating color, appearance, coverage and workmanship are checked before assembly and shipment.
05
Finished products are inspected before shipment using either full inspection or sampling inspection according to product and order requirements.
06
Non-conforming products are corrected, reinspected and released only after quality requirements are met.
INCOMING QUALITY CONTROL
Incoming steel tubes, hardware, rope, fabrics, packaging materials and other components are inspected before use according to approved product requirements.
01
Steel tube dimensions and wall thickness are physically measured and verified against approved specifications rather than relying only on supplier labels or documents.
02
Hardware, rope, fabrics and packaging materials are checked for specifications, condition and conformity before production.
03
Incoming material inspections are documented through inspection sheets, measurement records, material photos and non-conformance records where applicable.
FIRST ARTICLE CONTROL
The first finished units are checked by our internal QC team against the approved specifications, sample, color, dimensions, workmanship and packaging requirements before full production continues.
First article inspection results are documented through inspection sheets, photos, measurement records and internal QC approval.
IN-PROCESS QC
Dedicated QC personnel conduct inspections throughout production to verify dimensions, structure, workmanship, surface finish, assembly and other approved requirements.

03
Coating adhesion can be checked according to product and project requirements.
04
Film thickness and other finish-related measurements can be carried out when required.
05
Surface finish inspections are documented through inspection records, photos, measurement data where applicable and corrective-action records.
IN-HOUSE TESTING
Our factory is equipped to carry out routine product performance testing as part of product development, production verification and quality control.
01
Product load performance can be checked according to product specifications and project requirements.
02
Static load testing can be carried out to evaluate product structure under sustained loading.
03
Impact testing can be performed when required to evaluate product performance under impact conditions.
04
Product stability can be checked according to product design and intended use.
In-house testing is documented through test data, photos, videos, inspection sheets and internal test records.
THIRD-PARTY TESTING
Additional product testing can be arranged through qualified third-party laboratories according to product type, target market and buyer requirements.
01
Testing to applicable furniture standards such as EN 581 can be arranged according to the relevant product and project requirements.
02
Salt spray testing is primarily conducted through qualified third-party laboratories when corrosion-performance verification is required.
03
Testing may be coordinated through organizations such as SGS, TÜV or Intertek, or through laboratories appointed by the buyer.
Third-party test reports can be provided to buyers for the relevant tested products and projects.
FINAL PRODUCT INSPECTION
Final inspection is carried out before shipment using either 100% inspection or sampling inspection, depending on the product, order requirements and quality risk.
Where sampling inspection is required, inspection levels and acceptance criteria are followed according to the buyer’s specified standard or project requirements.
